New Civil Engineer features an article on The Curve in Slough- steelwork by Caunton - in the current issue. The article explains the efficient use of BIM in the building's construction .The building was originally designed to be framed in concrete but Mark Way of the consulting engineer, Peter Brett Associates, is quoted as saying -using steelwork made it much easier to design and form such a challenging shape.
